Breaking Through

Yantai is a city located in the eastern part of China. It is renowned for its ports and vines, but what makes the place unique is the people. Yantai Huasheng International School is a K-12 school in Yantai that has attracted various people in recent years, from biracial international students to intercultural children raised under parents who work in multinational corporations. The name ‘TEDxYouth@YantaiHuashengIntlSchool’ showcases the organizer's hopes for promoting inclusion amid diversity, especially with the plethora of cultural interactions and changes that occurred within the school's community before and during the unprecedented pandemic.
